Police appeal after pensioner assaulted in Lincoln County Hospital car park

Lincolnshire Police is appealing for information after a pensioner was assaulted in a hospital car park. Officers received reports of an altercation between two men at Lincoln County Hospital on Monday, January 8.

The incident was believed to have happened at some point between 2pm and 2.30pm. Police say the offender had allegedly grabbed the shirt collar of the victim, who was in his 70s, before raising his fist and making threats.

No injuries were reported from the incident and police are now asking for the public’s help. Describing the offender, a spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “The man is believed to be 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins tall, has a large build, with no facial hair and short greying hair. He was wearing a red short-sleeved shirt, jeans, and trainers at the time of the incident.
