Police were called to a crash on the A15 Eastern Bypass. The control room tweeted at just before 1.30pm on April 24 that it was between the Nettleham Roundabout and the Greetwell Roundabout and the southbound lane was blocked.
It came as the A15 at Waddington was closed due to an earlier crash between the B1202 Metheringham Heath Lane and Dunston Heath Lane. That incident brought down power cables leaving 80 homes without electricity.
Traffic sensors also reported severe delays of 13 minutes and delays increasing on A46 Lincoln Bypass Southbound between the A15 Riseholme Roundabout and B1378 Lincoln Road (Skellingthorpe Roundabout). The average speed was 10 mph. Police warned people to expect delays due to a charity event involving horses and traps. Here is a link to our story which includes the route.
