The Met Office has issued a thunderstorm warning for Lincolnshire.
Coming into effect on Saturday morning at 6am the yellow weather warning covers not only our county but most of England.
The warning is in place until 11.59pm on Saturday evening.
Yesterday the Met Office was forecasting that thundery weather would be with us by lunchtime on Saturday, July 3.
This advice has now been updated with thunderstorms likely to come in from 2pm onwards for the county.
According to the Met Office, a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms means that some disruption may be caused by the weather.
“There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes and hail,” the weather experts warn.
“Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions,” they added.
