A huge three-day weekend of live music will take place at the Lincolnshire Showground in Lincoln from Friday 1 to Sunday, July 3. Spanning chart-topping soul and pop from Simply Red (Fri), new wave and mod revival from Paul Weller (Sat) and baritone bluesy grooves from Rag ‘N’ Bone Man (Sun), the weekend is set to be a huge celebration for Lincolnshire as a number of global superstars descend on the Showground.
On Friday, July 1, music fans will enjoy one of the UK’s biggest bands, Simply Red, perform a catalogue of unforgettable hits, including ‘Something Got Me Started’, ‘Fairground’ and the US #1 hits, ‘Holding Back The Years’ and ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’. Mick Hucknall and his band will be joined by very special guest, UK soulful dance diva, Lisa Stansfield, and the Broadway / West End star and BBC Radio 2 favourite, Marisha Wallace.
Next up is The Modfather himself, Paul Weller, who will take to the stage on July 2. Audiences at Lincolnshire Showground can expect live performances of both new material from his 17th solo album ‘An Orchestrated Songbook’ to classics from his back catalogue such as ‘Wild Wood’, ‘Wake Up the Nation’ and ‘You Do Something To Me’.

The special guest on the night is the highly respected songwriter and two-time Mercury Prize nominee, Richard Hawley, who formerly performed with Pulp. Support on the night will come from breakout singer-songwriter, Andrew Cushin.
Closing out the weekend on Sunday, July 3, is internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter, Rag ‘N’ Bone Man. The multiple BRIT Award winner he hit number one in the UK with his debut album ‘Human’, also crashing into charts across the world.
Thousands of fans at the Lincolnshire Showground will be able to sing along to his huge hits including, ‘Human’, ‘Skin’, ‘Giant’ and other tracks from his latest UK number 1 album ‘Life By Misadventure’ – the fastest-selling album by a solo artist in 2021. He will be joined by indie star Jade Bird and Charlotte Jane.
