Lincolnshire Police appeal following Spar store robbery

Police have launched a public appeal for information after a convenience shop was the scene of a robbery on Easter Friday.

The Spar store on Brayford Wharf, Lincoln was targeted between 9:45-10pm last night, April 2.

Two males entered the Spar Store on Brayford Wharf and proceeded to take canned drinks from the shelves.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed that, when challenged by an employee of the shop, one of the males produced a bladed weapon before running out of the shop.

No injuries were reported from this incident.

A statement from the force said: “Two male youths, aged 12 and 15, were arrested in connection with the incident.

“The 15-year-old remains in police custody and the 12-year-old has been released on police bail.

“If you witnessed the incident or if you were in the area between 9:45-10pm last night, please get in touch.”
