Forecasters issue snow update as Arctic Blast set to hit UK

Temperatures are expected to plummet across the county next week with wintry showers on the horizon.

Lincolnshire is currently in the midst of unseasonably high temperatures this week with it expected to reach 14C on Thursday, November 18.

But that is all set to change from Sunday onwards, with the BBC forecasting that temperatures will be in the single figures.

Highs of just 8C are expected in the early stages of next week however wintry showers are forecast to hit the region on Thursday, November 25.

Sleet showers will be felt at 6am on that day with it returning at 10am.

Plenty of rain is also expected in the afternoon so any chance of snow actually settling in Lincolnshire is extremely unlikely at this present moment.

The rain will continue into Friday and the final weekend of the month is set to be a very cold one with daytime lows of just 2C expected.
