UK New Artists welcome you to Hillside Community Garden to join artist, Chiara Dellerba to explore how we can live in entanglement with the nature that surrounds us.

Over three workshops participants will work alongside Chiara to create a series of creative artworks, which will then form The Mobile Sensory Ground Museum and be shared publicly as part of the celebratory arts festival, Taking Place: Lincoln on Sat 21st October.

All workshops are FREE to attend and aimed at families with children aged 6-11yrs.

We know the forecast looks a bit wet but we’ll be there rain or shine, so get your wellies on and come and have some fun!

Fri 4th, 10am – 1pm – Plantasia

Explore spontaneous urban plants and their importance in the local ecosystem. Design, test and produce a new card game about how we can better care for our surroundings.

Mon 7th, 10am – 1pm – The Geography of Seeds

Explore where different seed origins and their amazing super powers, creating a travel map of all their adventures.

Fri 11th, 10am – 1pm – The Sensory Ground

Explore soil samples and their importance for us and the urban landscape, and create a living soil archive!

Participants are welcome to come to as many or as few of sessions as they like. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear and bring a water bottle.
