A driver who was stopped by officers from Lincolnshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit after being spotted driving erratically tested positive for cocaine use on a DrugWipe test on Thursday night (March 3).
After being arrested the driver was subsequently charged to court for failing to provide a sample of blood whilst in custody.
The officers, accompanied by the force’s Armed Response Vehicle officers, said they then located a stolen vehicle (pictured below) within a couple of hours. Enquiries are now ongoing with the Crime Scene Investigator.
People are reminded to dial 999 in an emergency, or otherwise contact police via the 101 non-emergency number. Lincolnshire Police can also be contacted via the force’s website here.
