A burglar fraudulently bought cigarettes and tobacco at a Lincolnshire Coop shop in Lincoln using stolen bank cards.
The cards were stolen from a property in College Close, off Newport, on April 12 and then used to pay for items at the Coop in Riseholme Road.
Lincolnshire Police have issued a photo of a man they would like to talk to about the incident.
A police spokesman said: “Bank cards were stolen from a property in College Close, Lincoln on April 12 and then used to purchase tobacco and cigarettes from the Co-op at Riseholme Road.
“CCTV footage has been obtained, and we would like to like to speak to the man pictured.
“He is described as a white male, medium to slim build, wearing a blue baseball cap with white letters or a logo on the front, black fleece jacket with a hood and pockets at the side and a zip front, grey jogging bottoms and black Adidas running-style trainers with a silver ‘three stripes’ logo.
“He was carrying a blue carrier bag in his left hand.
“He was wearing a light blue surgical mask, obscuring the bottom half of his face, but we hope the distinctive clothing will help identify him.”
